Barbiedrug

Funny name on a serious thing.

This drug i heard about for several years, i know people who tried it and i have seen pictures “before and after”. Original name: Melanotan 2. It basically makes your skin more tan, and you may loose a few pounds..

What is Melanotan-2?

Melanotan-II is a synthetic chemical which is similar to a substance in our bodies called “melanocyte-stimulating hormone,” which increases the production of darkening skin pigments. Do not to confuse melanotan-II with melatonin. Adverse effects which may occur with melanotan-II include nausea, stomach cramps, decreased appetite, flushing, tiredness, yawning, darkened skin, spontaneous erections of the penis, and other side effects. It is recommended by many physicians that you do not use melanotan-II if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Side effects included darkening of existing moles, enlargement of existing moles, stretching and yawning, prolonged erections and nausia in the first week.

Main side effects reported in clinical studies are:

Nausea
Flushing of the face
Suppressed Appetite

Other side effects
Tanning of the skin
Headache
General feeling of Lethargy
Light-headedness
Hyper pigmentation – it is said this is rare.
White skin spots
Spontaneous erections – some have reported undesired increase in libido and erections
Itching
Dizziness
New mole appearance – spots of darkened skin and much larger than regular moles are reported.

Some consumers have noticed new appearance of freckles. Some say it works better on men than women. Moles will probably become darker too.

I red in some blogs that they use sun-beds every day after they start on this, and in other blogs that they only used sun-bed 1 day of 10, and it still made them extremely tan. In general everybody knows that sun-beds are not good for you (at-least not to often), so i don’t understand why they would go to solariums when you get the tan anyway.. hmmm.. strange for me.I also read that your tan will be so dark that it looks a bit stupid..

Hahah! this if so funny! I know its kinda the same as getting breast implants, but you cant get dubble d’s by going to the gym 😛

Summer body!

Now that it is summer, we wanna look more tan.. I like to cheat a bit! If it is solarium, spray tan or self tan products for home use..Do what ever you want, but don’t overdo! Too much sun can really be bad for you so remember to always use sun protection (never under 20 SPF), if you use self-tan -just remember that if you overdo it, you will look so strange 😛

I found the perfect body lotion from Decléor that gives your skin a hint of tan every time you use it. This is perfect for the fair skin types. I don’t have super fair skin, i get a good tan in the summer (even though my boyfriend calls me “mozzarella norvegese”), but it gives my skin a nice extra glow. -And it smells good!

Remeber to scrub you body and face before using any types of self tan, and wash your hands after 😉

Dry shampoo

I’m a big fan of dry shampoo, it’s perfect to use when you need some volume and if you don’t have time to wash your hair after the gym.
It’s also nice to use after spending the day at the beach.
I like Batiste, it’s cheep, smells good and it’s easy to find.

I brought 1 travel bottle to London, and when I was in London I bought 1 big bottle (so much cheeper then in Norway), and a extra travel bottle..
Now I just went thru my cosmetics looking for something, and I found out I had a bit more dry shampoo then I thought..

The red bottle is from Sexy hair, I like this one as well but it’s better for those who have a problem with greasy hair (instead of washing it every day), it’s a good product but my hair likes Batiste better.

Looking for a new car..

Yesterday we went to see some cars, we really need a new car fast.. So we hope to find the perfect car for us for the perfect price..
While we were looking for a other car my FAVORITE car (except the hummer h2) needed to be tested by me.
I really really love this Jeep wrangler Sahara.., waaant it!
But A. Everybody says its not a good car, B. it’s a bit over our price range, C. My boyfriend is not the biggest fan of it.

Nobody understands why I’m so I love with this car (or the hummer h2)..

We looked at two other cars that we really like, so hopefully we owe one of them soon..

Goodies from Bare Minerals

Now that I am over 25 years, I have to start thinking about products for my skin that does more then just moisturize.
I have tested some products before, but they are usually “too active” for my skin, maybe I can use them when I’m older, but no need to stress about that.
Right now I’m testing a night serum from Bare Minerals, it’s a light oily consistence, and I use it after I cleaned my skin before I go to bed.
When I use this I don’t use moisturizer/night cream. My skin is less dry then normal these days, so I don’t need it.

This museum is fantastic! Except the line, I mean -we stood longer time in line then we actually used inside the museum, my feet were so tired after that, glad I didn’t wear high heels!
